Delete Your Account & Data

This page explains how to delete your HabitAdd account and the data associated with it. HabitAdd is a habit-tracking app published by Lumio Studio. You can delete your account directly inside the app, or request deletion by email — both options are described below.

The fastest way to delete your account and all associated data is from within the HabitAdd app:

1. Open the HabitAdd app and make sure you are signed in.
2. Go to your Profile.
3. Open Settings, then scroll to the Danger Zone.
4. Tap Delete Account.
5. Confirm when prompted. If you signed up with email and password, you’ll be asked to re-enter your password to verify it’s really you; if you signed in with Google, deletion proceeds directly.

Your account and the data listed below are permanently removed upon confirmation. This action cannot be undone.

If you can no longer access the app, email us at contact@lumiostudio.co from the email address linked to your account, with the subject line “HabitAdd Account Deletion Request”. We’ll verify your identity, complete the deletion within 30 days, and confirm by email once it’s done.

When you delete your account, the following is permanently removed:

• Your Firebase Authentication identity — your sign-in account, whether created with email and password or with Google sign-in.
• Your account profile — email address, unique user ID, display name, and profile photo.
• Your habits and habit history — habits, entries, schedules, and notes you created in HabitAdd.
• Your group memberships and peer relationships — the social habit connections you made with other users.
• Your cloud-synced data stored in Firebase Firestore (if you used Premium sync), removed from our active systems.

After deletion, we may retain a limited amount of data only where required:

• Subscription & purchase records are held by Apple (App Store) and Google (Play Store), not by us — we never store your payment details. Manage or cancel a subscription through your App Store or Play Store account.
• Anonymized, aggregated analytics that can no longer be linked to you may be retained to understand overall app usage.
• Records we are legally required to keep (for example, for tax, fraud-prevention, or accounting obligations) are retained only for the period required by law.

In-app deletions are processed immediately. Email requests are completed within 30 days of verifying your identity. Any data retained for legal reasons is deleted or anonymized once the applicable retention period ends.
